Hours : 28 per week
Salary : £19,240 ( £14,560 pro rata)
Rush House are seeking to employ a Key Worker to work with vulnerable young people who are tenants in our properties. You must have a positive and enthusiastic approach and be committed to helping them reach their potential, manage their tenancy and achieve independent living.
We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of the issues faced by vulnerable young people, particularly those in care/leaving care and can demonstrate the skills needed to motivate and engage with a vulnerable client group.
The successful candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to equal opportunities. You will have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle during working hours and will be willing to undertake emergency oncall duties (to provide out of hours support/guidance to staff team to resolve arising matters that require an immediate response).
Applicants should be aware that duties will involve lone working supported by relevant policies and procedures. This post will involve some evening and weekend work.
The post holder will be expected to work within the agreed hours and shift patterns which are relevant to the service. This may be reviewed from time to time to ensure services are accessible to young people and meet their needs.
