We thought now would be an ideal time to reach out to you all and let you know that our staff and young people remain safe and well. We are doing all we can to keep everyone safe in this awful situation and to keep spirits up. We have been overwhelmed by some real acts of kindness in such adverse circumstances and want to reach out and thank;
- Toby Carvery - Rotherham, especially to Michelle their team member who in the midst of closing down their establishment thought of our young people and offered us the Easter Eggs they had collected. A quick trip from our Manager on Friday night to collect them and we now have 25+ Easter Eggs well hidden from staff and young people 🙂 The Bunny will make it through!
- Fitzwilliam & Hughes - Rotherham, kindly donated a whole tray of non perishable food essentials that will help us keep our young people well nourished whilst we encourage them to stay at home.
- Fairways Pub - Rotherham also kindly donated food items to keep our cellar stocked at a time when shopping for 1 is difficult never mind for 15+ residents and 20+ staff to keep essentials on our shelves.
Perhaps now would be a good time to say that if you are inclined to be thinking about how you can support charities like ours to keep vulnerable young people safe and well, we would be very grateful to receive any financial donations via our new website www.rushhouse.co.uk
Most of all keep us in your thoughts and we will keep you in ours. We are so very thankful for the support we receive through our social media platforms and will try to keep you all updated.
Stay safe.
