Myself, Lucy and Natasha attended a celebration event at Sheffield Futures to bring to a close our Education, Employment & Training support programme called Legacy 6 . The young women involved have achieved so much and have developed further than they anticipated they would. Natasha’s story can be found in video form on our website. Both young women have disabilities which they have not let get in the way of their ambition to work, this has been a long process for both of them, there has been up’s and down’s along the way.
Over time their increased self- esteem has enabled them to feel more confident about what they have to offer and what they can achieve, they have developed and grown so much in the time I have supported them. Both young women are working and are part of the workforce of keyworkers who continue to support the public in this national crisis, they are rightly proud of their achievements as are we and we wish them all the best for their futures.
