Since the beginning of this year, RUSH have been looking at ways to become more sustainable and encourage our young people to recycle. We have implemented an AQA in an introduction to recycling. Which five of young people have already completed and passed.
Today our property manger Viv and one of our support workers Luke (pictured) handed out eight Tesco vouchers to the young people who have consistently recycled! That's 8 out of 11! Which is absolutely incredible! With great thanks to the support worker team and those involved who have ensured that each young person has been recycling and encouraging them each week to keep on top of it.
This is a great way of teaching each young person how to recycle and supports their move on in the future.
